Leanne Cunningham

I am a UK based, artist, writer, and teacher. My works engage with storytelling in a way that revisions identity, reality and fantasy. I am interested in the liminality of private and public spaces, creating narratives that explore the way in which our identity is impacted by the space we inhabit: how the blurring of boundaries might affect and revise our sense of self. I primarily work with sound, photography, and artists books.

I hold an MA in Arts from University of the Arts, London, a BA in Fine Art from University of Central Lancashire. I am currently programme leader on BA(Hons) Creative Art & Design Practice at Leek School of Art, University of Derby, and associate Lecturer of Fine Art at the University of Central Lancashire.  ​​
